Ashes boycott won’t happen

ustralian cricket coach Darren Lehmann believes its time for an end to the ongoing pay dispute between players and Cricket Australia.

With negotiations between the Australian Cricketers Association and the governing body grinding to a halt in the past weeks, talk amongst players has let to talk of a possible Ashes boycott if the impasse can’t be resolved.

As an employee of Cricket Australia and a past president of the Players Association, Lehmann (pictured) says he’s confident the two parties will come to an agreement without the need for a boycott or further industrial action.
