Anti-fracking Protest in Alice Springs

Protesters in Alice Springs gathered outside an annual seminar of mining representatives yesterday to stand against fracking in the Northern Territory.

At the Annual Geoscience and Exploration Seminar in Alice Springs mining groups discussed plans to explore shale gas reserves around the territory.

Coordinator of the Central Australian Frack Free Alliance Tanya Hall told CAAMA radio people are concerned about the still unknown health risks in fracking.
