Lumumba says Collingwood scared to stand up to racism

Heretier Lumumba says Collingwood lacked the courage to sanction president Eddie McGuire after McGuire compared Adam Goodes to an ape.

Speaking on The Project on Channel Ten, Lumumba spoke frankly about the way he felt during his time at Collingwood and the racist language he encountered on an ongoing basis.

Lumumba (pictured) says at the time, the club has the opportunity to make a stand against the offensive language used by its president but failed to do so.
