The Australian Taxation Office is the Government’s principal revenue collection agency, and is part of the Treasurer’s portfolio. The ATO’s role is to manage and shape tax, excise and superannuation systems that fund services for Australians.
The ATO offers a range of information and services to help Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people understand tax.
NIRS provided a sponsorship and promotional campaign for the Australian Taxation Office based upon messages placed Run-of-Station (ROS). This offer involved the production of public service announcements interviews at special events and outside broadcasts conducted by our affiliate stations across Australia.
As principal sponsor on NIRS, the ATO joined other sponsors including Australian Government, Department of Climate Change, Department of Health and Aging, various State Governments, the Attorney General’s Department, Batchelor College, Charles Darwin and Melbourne Universities as well as the Indigenous Land Corporation.
In return, NIRS offered ATO exposure to communities in all metropolitan, regional and remote parts of Australia. Each month NIRS provides the ATO with feedback based upon Proof of Broadcasts each month to show where messages were played.
NIRS also designed and placed the ATO sponsorship messages onto the NIRS website which clicked through to the ATO website.
